Out of the big name games that I plan on seeing this year, it’sMetal Gear Rising: Revengeancewhich has me the most intrigued. Having enjoyed the evolution of theMetal Gear Solidseries over the years, by and large, I find myself at a point where I can’t really foresee where the franchise would go and be able to maintain my interest without a dramatic shift in a new direction.Metal Gear Solid 4was a breathtaking capstone to a landmark series but I can’t bring myself to play it through a second time and that, to me, says it’s time for something fresh.
