A lot of these changes and improvements will be subtle to the average player but will go a long way towards making the experience better for the hardcoreMaddenfan. There is a lot of football lingo on display in the patch notes, and some of these bugs likely went right over players' heads. Most of the bug fixes, though, seem to address situations where defenders were doing things that either shouldn’t be able to do or that are illogical for a stout defense.
The update also includes some fixes for thenew The Yard mode, which is like Madden’s version of arcade-style football. There are different rule sets based on the field players are on and the pace of the game is much faster. Apparently there were some issues with player’s Avatars in The Yard and those should be fixed now.
Arguably the most interesting bug fix in theMadden NFL 21update is the audio tuning changes for the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers' stadiums. Having not really noticed any audio differences duringGame Rant’sMaddenreviewit’s hard to know what was wrong with the audio, but whatever the bug was is now fixed.
