TheLEGO Ninjago Moviedebuts September 22, taking fans to Ninjago City, as some of the local high school student ninjas fight off the attack of Garmadon and his army. The game will naturally feature the same plot. This is not the first time LEGO’sNinjagoseries has received a game or screen adaptation. There have been shows, a number of mobile and handheld video games, and even graphic novels. The upcoming movie will feature voice acting by Jackie Chan, Fred Armisen, Olivia Munn, and Dave Franco.
TheLEGO Ninjago Movie Video Gamewill likely offer fans of the movie a nice way to keep the adventure going after they leave the movie theaters. Past games, such as theLEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens,have included auxiliary story content to the film they’re based on. The release may create an issue for LEGO, though, as it will coincide with the release ofPokken Tournament DX –another brand that will likely be vying for young gamers' attention.
