Kingdom Hearts 3sends Sora, Donald, and Goofy on an epic-scale adventure, spanningmultiple Disney-themed worlds. When playing through the main story, the game usually automatically kicks Sora and the gang out to the Gummi Ship after they’ve completed that world, and as a result, some players may not know how to leave a world inKingdom Hearts 3manually.
To leave a world inKingdom Hearts 3, players simply need to go to a save point and return to the Gummi Ship. This is possible from basically every save point in the game. However, players don’t ever really need to use this feature in the main story until they’ve completed theBig Hero 6-themed San Fransokyo stage, as that is the only world that doesn’t immediately kick Sora and the gang back to the Gummi Ship after the story there has been concluded.
WhileKingdom Hearts 3players may be more concerned about completing the main story to worry about returning to previous worlds, doing so becomes important when exploring the game’s side content. Some challenges and mini-games are only available after completing a world’s story, and there are also plenty of collectibles to find in worlds, such as Lucky Emblems. In fact, finding Lucky Emblems is necessary forKingdom Hearts 3players to unlock the true ending, so they will want to make it a point to travel back to worlds and seek them out.
There are other reasons forKingdom Hearts 3players to return to previously explored worlds as well. One of the biggest is to collect ingredients that can be used to prepare various recipes in the Ratatouille cooking mini-game. These foods can be eaten for temporary stat boosts, plus players will have to cook them all with Excellent ratings to unlock all of the achievements/trophies in the game.
Save points are useful beyond being used to exit worlds, though. Players should be sure to visit them frequently to save their game, as well as check out the Moogle Shops that are usually in close vicinity.
Kingdom Hearts 3is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
