It’s been a few years sinceJust Cause 3put players in an outrageously destructive sandbox and in control of Rico Rodriguez, but it looks like it may almost be time to return to the world of skydiving and explosions. Another round of leaks seems to have spoiled a bigJust Cause 4surprise at E3 2018.
Many gamers were expecting aJust Cause 4announcement after the now infamous Wal-Mart leak a few weeks beforeE3 2018and now the game seems to be all but confirmed. Last night a listing for the title (pictured above) appeared in the Steam store for pre-order.
The ad doesn’t offer much detail, but does clearly show the logo and a man who seems to be Rico standing in front of a storm. If that wasn’t enough confirmation, a new batch ofJust Cause 4screenshots have also leaked.
Here’s a look at a few of the highlights, courtesy ofGematsu…
As usual with the franchise, the screenshots look gorgeous and full of destruction. A handful of screenshots from the leak seem to highlight big weather events, so it will be interesting to see if there are new mechanics focusing on natural disasters this time around.
Although Square Enix does have its own press conference scheduled, there is a chanceJust Cause 4could appear as a part of theMicrosoft conferencefirst. Microsoft has hinted that at least 15 reveals would take place this evening on stage, so this seems like a big contender.
