But when she learns that Bastian has cheated on her, Kat changes course and decides to marry a random person in the crowd named Charlie (Wilson).

The movie was directed by Kat Coiro and also features Sarah Silverman, Chloe Coleman, John Bradley, and Kat Cunning.Marry Megarnered a mixed reception from critics,getting a 61% Tomatometer. Audiences seemed to likeMarry Mea lot better, rating it a 92% Popcornmeter overall.

This delayed streaming success forMarry Mefalls in line with its performanceup to this point. While critics had mixed feelings, the film’s audience has always been its greatest champion. They gave it a high Popcornmeter score, and also bought enough movie tickets for the movie to earn $50.5 million gross.

The movie’s streaming popularity is also good for both Wilson and Lopez. Lopez is starring inKiss of the Spider Womanlater this year, which comes out on Oct.10, and Wilson’s new TV seriesStickjust wrapped up on Apple TV+ and would benefit from continued viewership. As such, the renewed interest inMarry Mecould boost both of their profiles.
