This is still the core of his role in the Marvel Universe, and would certainly be a dimension of his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but if filmmakers really want to capture the spirit of the character, they need to lean into his charisma, his humor, and his hyperbolic qualities, which at times, especially over the past several years, have made him as campy as he is dangerous.
