Big Brother27’s houseguests are already off to a dramatic start, withviewers getting the chance to see an explosive veto meeting during the first week of gameplay, surprising most long-term fans. ThroughoutBig Brotherhistory, the show has gone through fits and starts about the drama playing out in the game. For many years, things were slower at the start of the summer.

While some seasons that start of dramatic fizzle out quickly, the key to a good season ofBig Brotheris a cast that’s actively playing the gamethroughout the summer, which means starting off strong can be an asset. With a cast featuring big personalities, including returning Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly, it was bound to be an epic season.

AfterBig Brother27’sfirst Head of Household, Vince Panaro, chose to nominate his closest ally Kelley Jorgensen when Ashley Hollis took herself off the block using the veto, things went haywire. While there was already enough drama coming down the pipeline with the Vince’s decision, things were brewing in the background for another houseguest, who felt targeted by Keanu Soto.

He Heard Keanu Was Trying To Get Him Nominated

Big Brother27’s houseguests have been incredibly activethus far this season, and withJimmy finding out that Keanu had been throwing his name around as the potential replacement nominee, things felt fated. Jimmy decided that he wanted to call Keanu out, especially after he’d been buzzing around the house trying to plot against him throughout the day before the veto meeting.

WhileKeanu was a potential name being floatedfor the re-nom, it was clear from theBBepisode that Vince wasn’t genuinely considering putting him up on the block, nor was he considering putting up Jimmy. Instead,Vince decided to let things play out, letting Jimmy and Keanu go at each other. When Ashley tried to conclude the veto meeting, Jimmy took aim.

He Planned A Speech Seen On Live Feeds

Jimmy, who rehearsed his speech to Rachel and Vince prior to the veto meeting and was caught crafting it on theBBlive feeds, called out Keanu for being fake and throwing his name around. Feeling like Keanu was spreading lies,Jimmy felt the need to call him out in front of the house, making it clear he wasn’t to be trusted.

Even though some of the houseguests were aware Jimmy would be adding some dramatic flare to the veto meeting, the shock on many houseguests faces was iconic. Seeing Jimmy truly standing up and causing chaos was incredible, and knowing that itwas giving echoes of classicBig Brother, which saw a lot more fighting, drama, and general chaos,I was thrilled to see it happen.

I’m So Happy Chaotic Big Brother Drama Is So Back

It’s About Time The Houseguests Have Fun

AlthoughBig Brother27 is only just a week in,this season is already feeling like a classic. With unpredictable twists and an active cast, it’s clear the show is on the right track as it continues. SeeingJimmy throwing a tantrum at the veto meeting, it was clear that there was a lot of heat on both him and Keanu.

With so much going on and fierce competitors in the mix, it’s clear thatBig Brotheris back in a way it hasn’t been for years.
