You’re at the mercy of content creators
Destiny 2has myriad emblems (cosmetic options that adorn your nameplate), some of which are reserved for the best of the best raiders: and in extreme cases, less than 50 people. Hopefully that’s not the case with the Outrun emblem, which will make its debut in theLightfallexpansion. Here’s everything we know so far about it, and where it comes from.
The Outrun emblem is linked to a content creator giveaway
With a very AT&T-like design with its focal point, this pink/blue emblem fits the theme ofLightfall, which is going with a heavy neon aesthetic. Those two colors can be seen prominently throughout the expansion, and having an icon emblematic of that theme lead the charge makes a lot of sense. That said, all the info we have on how to get is very limited at the moment.
As the Destiny Emblem Collector points out, onlycontent creator Uhmaayyze seems to be giving these out, andthey’re seemingly linked to a giveaway involving Bungie, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek. Uhmaayyze teased “five emblems” as part of the giveaway, asking players to like and retweet the message with the emblem image.
Twitch affiliate Kiphas also linked to several other content creators who might be doling out Outrun emblem codes, including:
Ideally, more content creators will join in on the fray, possibly through a Twitch reveal/launch stream promo. If/when we have more information on additional avenues for procuring the Outrun emblem, we’ll update the article.
