Kujata is one of severalFinal FantasySummons that were inspired by mythologyand the fourth of 14 summonable entities available to players inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. They’ll first gain access to the cosmic bull upon their arrival in Chapter 9, although to fully upgrade Kujata, they’ll need to progress through the main story just a bit.
Kujata is a somewhat unique summon in that it can attack using multiple elements. This can come in handy against bosses who are able to change their elemental affinities or in battles against multiple powerful enemies of different types. As such, getting Kujata inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthshould be near the top of most players' to-do lists.
How to Get Kujata in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Kujata becomes available once players arrive in the Gongaga region duringChapter 9 ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. To get the Kujata Summoning Materia, they’ll simply need to beat Kujata in Chadley’s Combat Simulator. When attempting to do so, it’s a good idea to bring orbs of Ice, Fire, and Lightning Materia along on the party’s main magic user, as Kujata’s weakness switches between the three elements throughout the course of the fight. Those having trouble may want to upgrade the Kujata Materia by visiting some of the Gongaga Region’s Divine Sanctuaries and analyzing the Summon Crystals found there, as doing so will allow them to fight a considerably weaker version of Kujata in the Combat Simulator.
How to Fully Upgrade Kujata in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
As with all of theother Summons acquired through the Combat Simulator, Kujata can be upgraded up to three times. To do so, players will need to visit the three Kujata Sanctuaries scattered throughout the Gongaga Region. They’ll be able to visit the first one right from the get-go, but to gain access to the other two, they’ll need to complete the Gongaga Reactor section of the main story to open up the rest of the region.
Kujata Sanctuary 1 Location & Puzzle Solution (Gongaga Region Divine Intel 1)
The first Kujata Sanctuary is in the area to the north of Gongaga Village. to reach it, players will need to climb up a rope and then follow the path ahead of them to the Summon Crystal. The Crystal Memory Matrix solution is Triangle, Square, X, Triangle, Square, X.
Kujata Sanctuary 2 Location & Puzzle Solution (Gongaga Region Divine Intel 2)
The second Kujata Sanctuary is to the west of Gongaga Village. To get to it, players will need to head to the Magon Hill map marker and then use a jungle Chocobo to jump off of one of the giant mushrooms to the north of the area. Doing so will take them up to a large rock cave, where they’ll find Gongaga’s second Summon Crystal. The Crystal Memory Matrix solution is Circle, X, Circle, Circle, Square, Circle.
Kujata Sanctuary 3 Location & Puzzle Solution (Gongaga Region Divine Intel 3)
The third Kujata Sanctuary is in the southwestern part of the Gongaga Region and can only be accessed by passing through some old ruins. Players will need to head west through the derelict structures and keep heading to higher levels whenever possible. Eventually, they’ll start to see glowing crystals, which they can then break and follow the orbs of light straight to the Summon Crystal. The Crystal Memory Matrix solution is Circle, Circle, Square, Square, X, X.
