The first part of the DLC forPokemon ScarletandViolet,The Teal Mask, gives trainers a couple of new legendary Pokemon to catch.Munkidoriis one of those special Pokemon and makes up one-third of theLoyal Three in the region of Kitakami. Here’s where players can catch the Poison/Psychic Retainer Pokemon inThe Teal Mask.
As part of the main storyline ofThe Teal MaskDLC, trainers will eventually have to defeat the Loyal Three (Munkidori, Okidogi, and Fezandipiti). However, none of the legendary Pokemon can be caught during these initial battles until the story ends. After players see the end of the main storyline, they can return to the three locations where they fought the Loyal Three, and a normal-sized version of each monster will be waiting for an encounter.

How to Catch Munkidori in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
to meet up withMunkidorifor a Pokemon battle, players will just need to head back toWisteria Pondat thesouthwestern corner of the Kitakami map. This area is south of Wistful Fields and west of Apple Hills. Munkidori will be standing by the water. Approach it and press A to start the Pokemon battle.
Like any other Pokemon battle, players will need to get Munkidori’s health in a low state and possibly inflict a status effect on it to make it easier to catch. After Munkidori is caught, the Pokemon will not appear anywhere else in the region.
Munkidori will be at level 70 and knows theToxic Chain ability. “The power of the Pokemon’s Toxic Chain may badly poison any target the Pokemon hits with this move.”
It will also know the following four moves:
