With the release ofHotline Miami Collection, some may be wondering if a thirdHotline Miamigame could be in the works. Developer Dennaton Games hasn’t made any announcements about a newHotline Miami, and in fact, we have no idea what the two-man studio is working on. Its last release was2015’sHotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, and so its next project has presumably been in development for a few years at this point.
While fans ofDennaton Games' style of ultraviolent gameplaywait to see what’s next from the studio, hopefullyHotline Miami Collectioncan tide them over. However, those who have already sunk a lot of time into the games in the past should be warned that there doesn’t appear to be much in the way of major upgrades forHotline Miami Collection. In fact, it appears to just be the original two games with no real upgrades beyond the advantages that the Nintendo Switch itself provides.
Those who decide to pick upHotline Miami Collectionon the Switch will of course have the ability to play the game both on the go and on their TV. So perhaps those who already ownHotline Miamion the PS4 or PC may be tempted to get the Switch version so they can play it wherever they want.
Hotline Miami Collectioncoming to the Switch marks the first time any game in the series has been on a Nintendo console, so at the very least, Nintendo loyalists will have something new to play today.
