A streaming expert estimated how much popularTwitchstreamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel would make hourly after signing with Kick. The streamer’s surprising move came after the streaming platform drew flak for its updated policies. The latest being a new70-30 revenue split between Twitch and its streamers, but with additional requirements that upset creators further.
According to reports, xQc signed a $70 million contract with Kick. The streaming platform also gives its creators incentives that could result inxQc making upwards of $100 million. The contract also stated that Kick would be the streamer’s primary platform, but he will still be allowed to create content on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, so he would have multiple revenue sources.

Following the news, streaming expert Devin Nash estimated that xQc could also be making $10,000 every hour. In his YouTube video covering xQc’s Kick signing, Nash dissected the streamer’s contract and made an educated guess that Kick might be giving him an hourly deal alongside the set $70 million salary and $30 million worth of incentives.
On social media, many people have said that xQc’s Kick signing could be life-changing because of the high incentive amount it reportedly offers to its streamers. It seemed like Kick’s deals have enticed other streamers, liketop female Twitch streamer Amouranth, who recently made the shocking move as well. At this point, many could expect other streamers to sign with either Kick or YouTube in the next few months in protest against Twitch’s latest policies and alleged mistreatment of its creators.
Meanwhile, there are still many people who seem hesitant about supporting Kick because of its association withcontroversial streamers Adin Rossand Trainwrecks. The platform has also received backlash for allowing gambling and its lack of censorship over sexual content, which younger viewers might see. But some also can’t deny how Kick could be healthy competition for Twitch and YouTube down the line, especially once it resolves its issues.
