Hades 2is now out, but it’s in early access. This means that the development team, Supergiant Games, will continue to update the game with patches and hotfixes, with some ideas even being implemented from fan and player feedback. UntilHades 2releases in full, which might not be until 2025, there will be plenty of additions to the game.
This patch notes guide forHades 2will be updated with every major patch for the game, keeping the older ones towards the bottom and bringing the latest ones to the top.
Hades 2was updated on July 23, 2025, and the patch was pretty small. It focused on squashing bugs and community feedback.

Hades 2 - Patch 2 (June 21, 2025)
On August 04, 2025, Supergiant Games released thesecond major patch forHades 2. The patch has a lot of fixes (listed below), but the major changes are UI and weapon-related, including the removal (and addition) of several Daedalus Hammer upgrades.
Hades 2 - Patch 1 (June 25, 2025)
On Jun 10, 2025, Supergiant Games put out thefirst-ever early access patch forHades 2.All improvements and fixes will be in the notes below, but the patch mostly focused on improving Melinoe’s sprint and turning and making it easier to gather resources on a run. Instead of needing toequip a Gathering Tool at the Silver Poolto collect one type of resource, like the Fishing Rod to collect Fish, you can now collect all types of resources without needing to equip the corresponding tool. However, if youdoequip one of the tools, you are bound to find more types of that specific resource that the tool is meant to gather.
