Ghostwire: Tokyowas one of the first games ever revealed for the PlayStation 5, and now its release date is finally in sight. TheGhostwire: Tokyorelease datehas been confirmed for July 08, 2025, with PlayStation also confirming details about the game’s pre-order content and Deluxe Edition, the latter of which can get players early access.
Those that pre-orderGhostwire: Tokyoprior to its March 25 release date will get some exclusive outfits for protagonist Akito in the form of the Biker and Hannya outfits. Those that spring for theGhostwire: Tokyodigital Deluxe Edition will be able to play the game three days earlier than everyone else, so starting March 22, plus they’ll get the Shinobi Outfit, Kunai Weapon, and Streetwear Fashion Pack. It should be stressed that the early access deal is only for those that buy the digital Deluxe Edition on PS5, so PC gamers will have to wait for March 25. Pricing information for the Deluxe Edition is unavailable at the time of this writing.

Along with revealing all these details aboutGhostwire: Tokyo’s release date and the Deluxe Edition, PlayStation also confirmed when fans will get to see the game next. A specialGhostwire: Tokyoshowcase has been announced for Thursday, February 3 at 4:00pm CT. Exactly what fans will see from the showcase has not been confirmed just yet, but they won’t have to wait long to watch it for themselves.
WhenGhostwire: Tokyolaunches in March, it will bring an end to Bethesda’s PS5 exclusivity deals, and so all future games published by the company will be Xbox exclusives, released day one on Xbox Game Pass.Ghostwire: Tokyoitself will likely make its way to Xbox Game Pass after itsPlayStation exclusivity dealruns out as well, and one has to imagine that it will make its Xbox debut through Game Pass whenever it happens.
Those plans have not been revealed at the time of this writing, but in the meantime, those impressed by theGhostwire: Tokyofootage shown so farshould look forward to the game’s showcase on February 3 at 4:00pm CT.
