Genshin Impactplayers have discovered an invincibility trick that may prove to be useful in Inazuma, one of the game’s unique regions. While exploring the world of Teyvat inGenshin Impact, players may have to avoid environmental hazards and other phenomena related to the extensive main story.
Genshin Impact’sgame worldgrows with each update with players meeting new characters and exploring areas that were previously teased in the main story. Thus far, players have access to the Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru regions inGenshin Impact. Outlying areas such as Enkanomiya and the Chasm are also available after making sufficient progress in the open-world action RPG. In recent years, the Traveler and Paimon’s adventure became more treacherous in Inazuma and Sumeru due to the introduction of new environmental hazards, including Inazuma’s lightning storms and Sumeru’s Withering Zones.

Genshin Impactplayers have discovered a new invincibility trick, allowing players to come out of vicious lightning strikes unscathed in the Inazuma region. KyleTheMan4444 demonstrates that players may avoid taking damage altogether by simply holding a fishing rod and waiting for the lightning strikes to stop. The lightning will strike the spot where theGenshin Impactplayer’s character is standing, but the lightning appears to pass through the character model and hit the ground instead.
During the Inazuma storyline, players may be struck by lightning repeatedly while exploringSeirai Island inGenshin Impact. The game’s lore explains that a sudden calamity caused a massive thunderstorm to form over the island. The lightning produced by the storm will constantly target players exploring the island, but the lightning may be dealt with by progressing and completing the Seirai Stormchasers questline. In this questline, the Inazuma branch of the Adventurer’s Guild lends its aid as the Traveler and Paimon complete several puzzles and uncover the true cause of the storm on Seirai Island.
This newly discoveredGenshin Impacttrick may be useful for new players entering Seirai Island for the first time. However, the fishing rod may impede exploration for some players since the item must be put away to climb, discover secrets, and completeSeirai Island’s Lightning Compass puzzles. At the very least, this trick ensures the Traveler will be safe while fishing near Koseki Village.
After exploring Seirai Island and catching up with the entirety of the Sumeru storyline,Genshin Impactfans will continue their long journey in the Fontaine region.Genshin Impactversion 4.0is expected to launch later this summer featuring Fontaine, new characters, and the continuation of the main story.
