Small Office (Level 2):This would be the first instance of the game’s properofficesetup. Although it is not fancy, it offers enough space to house five employees, including the player and this is when the theteam really starts to form. Players can research new topics, generate their first custom new engines and provide management training for their playable character. Upon reaching an accumulated net value of $5M or Year 11, and if the studio houses two staff, the game would prompt for an upgrade to level 3 office.
Small Office (Level 3):The Level 3 office is typically the same but with much more fancy setups. The studio’s name is better highlighted, and the office now has more vibrant colors with new paint jobs and furniture works. Although this does not sound like significant progress, the upgrade is a bridge between leaving the old behind and venturing into something new. As time in the office progresses, the players would be able to get publishing deals, which would require more staff, or in simple words, the game would force the player to fill out the max staff slots.
Medium Office (Level 4):Upon reaching an accumulated net value of $16M+ with 13.9 years in the industry (with four staff members), the game prompts a move into a bigger office that costs the entire net worth. This would be the last office to move into, and all other expansions, such as the R&D labs, Hardware Labs, etc., are available to unlock here. This is also the place, where the player could create and develop their very firstgaming console
