SomeFortnitefans may be disappointed that there is no hidden battle star to coincide with this week’s challenges. However, those who manage to complete theweek 8 challengesare not walking away empty-handed. This week, the popular battle royale title is giving its players who complete the challenges a free banner if they can find it.
This banner displays the newly designed face of Tomato Head, a fan-favorite mascot of the game, which recently returned from one of the rifts. Its return heralded the change of Tomato Town into Tomato Temple, so it makes sense to see theFortnitemascot getting some extra love. In fact, Tomato Temple is where this hidden banner can be found.
As seen below, the week 8 loading screen hides the banner in plain sight. Once the challenges are complete, players can head to the designated area and simply pick up the stylish new banner. Check it out below:
For the record, finding this hidden banner does not give the player a free tier, just a stylish nod toward the beloved mascot. Since there are only a few weeks left in season 5, players have hopefully reached that coveted tier 100 on the Battle Pass or are very close. Those still working on this week’s challenge can find where tosearch between three oversized seats here.
Regardless, as Epic Games steers its popular battle royale title closer to season 6, there is plenty going on to keep aFortnitelover occupied. The creation of Tomato Temple, for example, and the mysterious cube are both exciting changes that have begun to develop here near the end of the season. Now, ifthis Crazy Castle theory proves to be true, the season 5 ending could really be something special like its predecessor season 4.
Fortnite Battle Royaleis available now in early access for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
