Obtaining the Galaxy skin was difficult, but the shiny skin always stood out on the battlefield and became something to brag about. A new leak shows that a variation of the skin may be on the way.
Twitter user ShiinaBR recently tweeted out a leaked image of a new skin that could be coming toFortnite. ShinnaBR has been a source of leaked content forFortnitefor years, including information from sources as well as items found while datamining.

This time around, the Twitter user provides an image of a skin that looks a whole lot like the original Galaxy skin. ShiinaBR claims that the name for this content is Galaxy Scout, and it looks to meditating and wearing some slick shoes. Theoriginal Galaxy skin was an exclusive promotional item, this new one could be the same.
According to the leak, it could be that that Galaxy Scout is coming out soon, and it is yet another exclusive promotional item with Galaxy phones. TheGalaxy s20 released earlier this year, and this new Galaxy Scout skin was obviously not a part of the original promotion, but it may be a part of a Fall/holiday push.
Some fans may not be overly happy about a new Galaxy skin, because the true value of a skin like this is the rarity. However, it isn’t the same thing asbringing back the beloved Skull Trooper skin inFortnite. Fans were in a bit of an uproar when Epic re-sold the Skull Trooper skin. Fans who had it originally enjoyed showing it off as proof that they have been around since the beginning. With Galaxy Scout, however, it will be an entirely different model, so it will be clear which skin was acquired when and how.
The skins ofFortnitehave continued to evolve, becoming more flashy and varied than ever was imagined in 2018. Thebest skins in 2020’s version ofFortniteare based on real people like Travis Scott, licensed characters like Deadpool, and imaginative creations like Meowscles. Regardless of which skin is a favorite, the rarity of the Galaxy skins will always make them coveted.
