It’s only been a few days since the launch of Season 4 inFortniteand already players are trying to consume as much of the new items as they can. In order to unlock some of those items, like the coolOmega skin, players will need to level up their Battle Pass by completing challenges.
While we have already detailed where to find all theletters to spell FORTNITE, there is also a treasure map challenge this week that sends players looking for a specific area. Here is where to find the map and then where to find the treasure.
Treasure Map in Tomato Town
Step one is to land inTomato Townand find the map in the Northwest corner of the landmark area. Look along the brick wall behind the signature Tomato Town building and you should see the map.
Looking at the map it is easy to recognize that Fortnite players need to head to Loot Lake for their treasure. Specifically, players want to head to the Eastern shore of Loot Lake, where a rock formation is coming out of the water.

At Loot Late, players will find the shipwreck of a small boat and getting near the wreck will reveal the “treasure.” Collect the item and earn points towards the next tier in the Battle Pass.
As with most treasure map challenges inFortnite, it was only a matter of minutes before players found the map and figured out where it led. Getting as many points in the Battle Pass as quickly as possible is key in the early days of newFortniteseasons so that players can unlock as many of thenew cosmeticsas possible.
Of course, players that are really invested in the new Season 4 items can skip right to them by paying a little extra. We know Orange Shirt kid wanted to unlock hisOrange Justice emoteas soon as possible.
