Epic Games is trying to make the 2019 holiday season a memorable one forFortnite. What better way to do that than to bring back one ofFortnite’s most popular LTMs? Friday morning, Epic announced the return of the Wick’s Bounty LTM, a fast-paced and high-intensity mode that offersFortniteplayers a diversion from standard matchmaking.
Wick’s Bounty is asquad-based LTMin which teams fight to be first to accrue a specific number of gold tokens. These tokens are earned by eliminating other players in the match. Unlike the standardFortnitematch, however, players don’t have a single life to give. Each player can be eliminated 3 times total before they’re out of the contest entirely. That means players just need to find a team with a lot of tokens and they can get right back into the mayhem. Plus,Fortnitemakes it easy for players and will mark teams with lots of tokens on the map.

Since it was a partnership with the film, Epic Games also released several John Wick-themed challenges with skins as rewards. Since the event ended, but Epic still wanted to keep the LTM’s gameplay, everything John Wick-related has been removed. There’s noJohn Wickcontentrelated to the event anymore, beyond the Wick’s Bounty name.
