The final trailer forSquid Gameseason 3 has been released, teasing the VIPs' arrivals and confirming the return of a devastating original game.Squid Gameseason 3follows the events of Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) attempted coup against the Front Man, ending in the death of his best friend, Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan). With the games halfway over, it’s unclear how the future will shape up, and if Gi-hun continues to revolt against the game-makers. Meanwhile, Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon) and his team are still looking for the island, unaware that Captain Park (Lee Jin-wook) is a traitor and spy.
Now,Netflixhas released the final trailer forSquid Gameseason 3, which offers flashbacks to all the games in season 1 and 2 so far. There’s a voiceover from Geum-ja (Kang Ae-shim) as she speaks to Gi-hun, saying he can’t help the bad things that happen in the games, and she still believes he’s there to save them. Scenes from season 3 tease the arrival of the VIPsand an elevator fight between two guards. The return of the Red Light, Green Light robot is also teased, alongside a new jump rope-style game.

Gi-hun Is Being Put In A Dire Situation
Squid Gameseason 2 endedwith Gi-hun at his lowest point,believing Oh Young-il (Lee Byung-hun) to be dead,when he was really the Front Man masquerading as a player the whole time. With the protagonist thinking two of his closest allies in the games are dead, it seems like plenty of danger will be ahead in the final rounds. This includes the return of familiar-looking games, with everyone doing their best to survive despite the dire circumstances at play.
The trailer also teases that, despite trying to save as manycharacters inSquid Gameas he can,Gi-hun will advance to the final round.What this means for other players is unclear, since, at the end of the previous set of games, he was the last man standing. The Front Man seems to be goading him into making more difficult decisions, especially when it comes to having to play against the people he’s trying to save.

With the final trailer teasing key involvement from the VIPs, coupled with very life-threatening new games, the upcoming episodes are bound to be filled with suspense and loss.
