InFar Cry 5, players are free to explore the dense open world ofHope County, Montanain a variety of ways. However, one of the most efficient ways to explore the game world is by air, and so it’s beneficial to secure a plane as early as possible. As it turns out, players can get their hands on a free plane in the game fairly early on, and here is how to do it.
To get a free plane inFar Cry 5, travel to the northern region of the map, controlled by Jacob Seed, otherwise known as the Whitetail Mountains. Just north of the F.A.N.G. Center, where players can recruit the powerful “Fangs for Hire” bear ally Cheeseburger, is an airstrip called the Lansdowne Airstrip.
Upon traveling here, players will find a locked hangar. Searching the area for clues will reveal a note that suggests players glide off the nearby tower to land on the roof of the building. This will also unlock the prepper quest Hangar Pains.
Look south of the hangar to spot the tower mentioned in the note. verify that both theParachute and Grappling Hook perksare unlocked, which require 1 perk point apiece, and then scale the tower. Jump off the tower, pop the parachute, and land on the roof of the hangar.
There will be an opening on the roof that will allow players to drop into the hangar itself. Check the west wall to find a button that will open the hangar. With this, the Hangar Pains prepper quest will be complete, and players will have access to a red airplane called the Pack Hunter that can be spawned at any airstrip in Hope County.
Having a plane early on in the game can make a lot of missions easier than they would be otherwise. It gives players an advantage by allowing them to deal serious damage to enemies without having to fight them face-to-face. It also makes the process of destroying cult property much faster, so it’s definitely worth taking the time to unlock this free plane as early as possible.
