Keanu Reeves, the star ofBill and TedandThe Matrixseries, is auctioning off a private Zoom date for charity. The actor and musician may have some time on his hands beforeThe Matrix 4resumes productionlater this summer, allowing him to spend some time doing good.
Reeves has partnered up with children’s cancer charity Camp Rainbow Gold to help with the organization’s fundraising efforts, which have had to go online because of COVID-19. In an auction open now until June 22, fans will be able to bid for a 15-minute Zoom session with the actor, with Reeves answering questions. CD Projekt RED, the developer ofCyberpunk 2077,which Reeves also stars in, has created someThe Witcher 3: Wild HuntZoom backgrounds, so perhaps the winner of the prize could use this during their meeting.

However, anyone who wants to win the Zoom meeting with Reeves will have to put up a huge amount of money. The meeting has a market value of $10,000 but the current winning bid is $16,300. Reeves has been a major Hollywood name for years but new roles, such as his performance asJohnny Silverhand inCyberpunk 2077, have made him a hotter property.
Those who don’t have that kind of money can support the fundraiser in other ways, though, as Camp Rainbow Gold is also auctioning off bags, free stays in hotels, and cases of wine. Fans could also host their own fundraisers on sites like Twitch, if they want to support Camp Rainbow Gold or other charities like it.
