In one of her more recent livestreams, on September 8, ExtraEmily was driving around while chatting with herTwitchviewers. While stopped at a red light, the car behind her rear-ended her, resulting in a fairly wholesome and positive interaction. “Bro, somebody just rear-ended me,” the streamer said, shocked, before pulling into a nearby parking lot to assess the damage. The other driver also parked in the lot to join her.
However, upongetting out of her Tesla, ExtraEmily’s unhappiness seemed to instantly disappear as she said, “Wait, it’s a grandpa that did it.” The person who came to meet her turned out to be an older gentleman, and Emily seemed to immediately recognize that he was also Chinese as the ensuing conversation took place primarily in that language. From their tones of voice and body language, the interaction was clearly a positive one, and there seemed to be only minimal damage to Emily’s car. The two shook hands and the man left, while the Twitch streamer told her chat, “It looks fine. There’s just [two small dents] from the plate, which is fine.”
