Today, the Epic Games Store launched its Halloween Sale 2020, which includes discounts of up to 75 percent off for over 100 different PC games. That includes some spooky games, but isn’t limited to the horror genre. TheEpic Games StoreHalloween Sale 2020 will last from now through November 5.
The five spotlighted games in the Epic Games Store’s Halloween Sale 2020 have nothing to do with horror or the holiday in general. They include theMafia Trilogyfor 15 percent off,Borderlands 3for 50 percent off,Civilization 6for 75 percent off,Red Dead Redemption 2for 40 percent off, andSnowrunnerfor 33 percent off. Epic Games seems to be targeting big sales over the spirit of the holiday.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t a lot of discounted scary games to buy on the Epic Games Store, however.World War Zis discounted 60 percent,Mortal Shellis discounted 20 percent,The Walking Deadadventure game series is discounted 40 percent,Killing Floor 2is discounted 67 percent,Limbo’s down 40 percent,Layers of Fearis down 75 percent,Controlis down 30 percent, and more. There are also Halloween events in free-to-play games likeFortnite,Rocket League, andSpellbreak.
Unfortunately, there’s no new Epic Games Store coupon to go along with the Halloween Sale 2020, as the $10 coupons are apparently reserved for Epic’s bigger holiday sales events later this year. That said, any existing coupons, like the one currently available viaEpic’sRocket Leaguepromotion, will work on top of the Halloween Sale 2020’s discounts. Just don’t wait for November 5 and miss out on theEpic Games Storesale entirely.
