UMLs, or Unique Marine Life, are rare creatures found inEndless Ocean Luminous. Sometimes, these can be uncommon fish, or particularly large versions of creatures, and much more. Finding Unique Marine Life can be difficult to do, even after you have been informed that there is one in the near vicinity.
As you get into more Solo and Shared Dives in the game, you’ll find that Unique Marine Life will often appear asannounced by Sera. If you’re struggling to locate these rare creatures, this guide will give you some tips to more easily locate them and complete the required quest.
How to Unlock Unique Marine Life in Endless Ocean Luminous
Before you can go searching for some Unique Marine Life inEndless Ocean Luminous, you’ll first need to complete a few thingsduring your Shared Diveor Solo Dive. UMLs usually won’t appear immediately, so you’ll need to do the following first to prompt them to spawn:
How to Find Unique Marine Life in Endless Ocean Luminous
After successfully discovering all seven creatures, you’ll get a notification from Sera about a large and unusual creature found in the area. To unlock the entire map, you’ll need to uncover at least80 percent of the area. Then, you’ll just need to search for the UML on the map with anorange circle, as shown in the second image. Just like with the other seven creatures you had to search for earlier, you’ll want to be on the lookout for the reticle blinking with an orange circle in the middle again.
Keep in mind that you only have a short amount of time to catch the UML, otherwise they will disappear. If this occurs, you’ll start a new mission to uncover more creatures with strange biometric signs, and you’ll be given another chance tofind and scan a UML. Each session isone hour, so you should have enough time to find at least one UML.
