Based on the footage shown, it’s not difficult to guess what some of these games might be. Footage was shown for what are clearly new entries in franchises likeNeed for Speed,Dragon Age, andBattlefield. Criterion’s next game is said to offer new levels of seamless immersion that will put players into a race in a matter of seconds, BioWare is developing a new fantasy world it wants to make the players reality with immersive next-gen technology, and DICE is working on multiplayer battles on a scale and fidelity level never seen before. Unfortunately, while EA named a bunch of prestigious studios that are working on brand new games for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, the announcements stopped there. Based on the presentation, fans already know about the majority of EA games releasing throughout the rest of the year includingStar Wars: Squadrons,FIFA 21,Madden 21, andRocket Arena.
