The Robertsons Are Family-Oriented

The Robertsons have turned their family into a business–and not only through their duck calling company. Appearing onDuck Dynastyfor so many years, as well as the reboot,Duck Dynasty: The Revivalseason 1, has endeared the Robertsons to their legions of fans who relate to their home-spun brand of family loyalty.

The Robertsons have withstood backlash for many years, includingaccusations of racism from the late Phil. But they had a strong enough active fan base to come back to TV with their rebooted show, which focuses more on Willie and his children and grandchildren, like Sadie Robertson Huff. Most of Willie’s family lives near him and Korie, soWillie wanted to get Will to come back home as well.

Unfortunately,Will decided it was best for himself and Abby to remain in Dallas, but they are still a part of the close-knit Robertson clan. Willie’s meddling was done out of love and a desire to keep his family close.

Our Take On Will Revealing He’s Staying In Dallas

Will Has To Do What’s Right For His Family

It’s admirable that Willie wants his family living closer together, but it’s also admirable that Will is looking at the bigger picture. His life with wife Abby should take priority over his parents' wishes, and by choosing to remain in Dallas,Will is putting his wife first, as he should.

Will might love his parents and siblings, but his life with his wife is his prioritynow. If they want to continue living in Dallas and popping by Louisiana for visits with Will’s family, that’s well within their rights.
