Fortnite’s Season 9 Week 4 challenges are now live, tasking players withfinding a holographic tomato headand more. Just like past weeks inFortnite, completing all of the challenges will unlock a loading screen, with fans usually expecting to find clues in the loading screen that will lead them to a secret battle star or hidden banner. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for Season 9 Week 4.

There is noFortniteSeason 9 Week 4 secret battle star to speak of, and there isn’t a hidden banner to find either. LikeSeason 9 Week 2, the loading screen instead sendsFortniteplayers to a Fortbyte, which is a new type of collectible that was introduced as part of Season 9. This particular Fortbyte is Fortbyte #91, and it can be found at an ATM machine outside of the arcade in Paradise Palms. However, there is a catch to it.

Fortbyte #91 hasn’t actually unlocked inFortniteyet at the time of this writing, meaning that even those who complete all of the Season 9 Week 4 challenges will be unable to collect it at this time. It’s unclear if this is due to a bug or if players are expected to wait for Fortbyte #91 to unlock later on. This means that not only is there no Season 9 Week 4 secret battle star, but even those who manage to complete all of the Season 9 Week 4 challenges will be unable to collect Fortbyte #91.

Some fans may be disappointed thatFortnitedidn’t bring back the hidden banners to find for Season 9 Week 4, but others may be enjoying theFortbytes and the mystery behind them. However, it’s safe to say that most fans definitely prefer it when they can find a secret battle star after completing all of the challenges for any given week, as that is one of the best way to level up the battle pass and unlock cosmetics.

Based on the pattern established so far,FortniteSeason 9 Week 5 should have a secret battle star for players to collect. Those challenges will drop on Thursday, June 6, soFortniteplayers disappointed at the lack of a Season 9 Week 4 secret battle star have that to look forward to in the coming week.

Fortniteis out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
