As many Guardians will likely attest,Destiny 2’sLast Wish raidis one of, if not the most difficult activity that Bungie has added to its science fiction shooter sequel yet, with there still being some players who have yet to even reach the power level required to give it a go. Be that as it may, one Guardian just recently was not only able to tackle the raid successfully, but also managed to receive two rare drops in a row following its completion.
As seen in the video below from the YouTuber dubbed “ds d”, by utilizing Bungie’s Guided Games feature forDestiny 2, the Guardian known as “donnieD” was able to join the ranks of a Clan and beat the Last Wish raid with them on PC. After the mission’s completion, the player managed to hit the jackpot by getting One Thousand Voices and Trinity Ghoul in one chest, with another chest then rewarding him with a second One Thousand Voices.
For those who may be unaware, after Clan Redeem pulled offits hard fought World First featof being the first team to beat Last Wish, Bungie announced that the rest of the player base that completes the raid from now on would see One Thousand Voices be a rare drop from the final boss encounter. With this being the case, the fact that donnieD was given two One Thousand Voices in a row is definitely an RNG anomaly.
All things considered, while some Guardians who have yet to even come close to getting a single iteration of One Thousand Voices may be envious of donnieD’s double acquisition of the Exotic Fusion Rifle, it’s important to remember just how random this drop was for him. Even his teammates expressed disbelief at first when he told themDestiny 2rewarded him with two One Thousand Voices for beating Last Wish. So, for those still trying to get the rifle, the best thing to do is continue plugging away and holding out hope for it to finally drop.
Destiny 2is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
