Now that thegameplay and numerous detailshave been revealed forDestiny 2, it seems Bungie is ready to let loose with the marketing for the sci-fi shooter. After today’s livestream, PC gaming company Razer announced a partnership with Bungie to release numerous peripherals in conjunction with the game.
The “suite” ofDestiny 2-themed products from Razer will include a Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse (which Razer claims is the “most accurate mouse ever created"), a Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard, a Razer ManO’War Tournament Edition headset, and a Razer Goliathus Speed mouse mat.
Bungie brand and marketing boss Jim McQuillian shared the company’s excitement about partnering with Razer for the suite of products. McQuillian said:
“We’re very excited to partner with Razer to create a line of premium gear that we knowDestiny 2players and action shooter fans will love. The team has come up with some cool ways to pairDestiny’s art and designs with Razer’s high-performance hardware, providing players with new ways to customize theirDestiny 2experience.”
WithDestiny 2coming to PC, many gamers are excited for the chance to experience the game in4K, with an uncapped framerate. In fact, it seems PC will undoubtedly have the best experience of the various platforms the game will be coming to.
Unfortunately for PC gamers, they will have to wait until after the game launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One before it comes to PC. As to why thePC version is coming later, gamers are left to speculate until Bungie reveals more information.
In the meantime, there’s a lot to look forward to withDestiny 2. A new storyline, four new planets, new weapons, as well as new character subclasses and abilities all look impressive, and so far live up to the hype building around the game.
Destiny 2is set to release June 24, 2025 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will release later on PC.
