ManyDestiny 2players would be hard-pressed to complete the Last Wish raid itself, much less the Petra’s Run version of the raid. Still, this hasn’t stopped some from trying, and to the astonishment of many, a fireteam of just 3 players known as Chevy, Claw, and Soul were able to beat this complexDestiny 2challenge.
For the uninitiated, Petra’s Run is activated by theThirteenth Wishon the Wall of Wishes. It essentially combines Flawless Raider and Extinguish from the originalDestinyand is necessary to unlock the Rivensbane title. Basically, if any fireteam member dies during Petra’s Run, they have to begin again all the way at the start.
Of course, for most of those attempting this rather difficult challenge, the standard fireteam is the best bet due to the number of enemies that have to be faced. This didn’t stop a fireteam of three, however, from trying, meaning that Chevy (Warlock), Claw (Titan), and Soul (Titan) have become the first Guardians to reportedly complete this challenge with such a small team. Check it out below:
As impressive as this is, it isn’t the first time theDestiny 2community has seen power runs like this in the Last Wish raid. In fact, the well-known player Slayerage even managed todefeat one of the bosses solo, though it was likely the only boss that could be defeated solo. Moving forward, it’s hard to imagine what could top this critical Petra’s Run, but we’re sure something will happen before long, perhaps as more becomes available next season.
In the meantime, many players are likely preparing for the next season and, of course, the next DLC. Now that we know when Black Armory releases, players have plenty to look forward to including new raid additions, weapons,Lost Forges, and more.
