Capcom Has A Strong Roster Of Upcoming Games

A Showcase To Look Forward To

Single-publisher showcases can be hit or miss, butthe Capcom Spotlight is shaping up to be one you won’t want to miss. Capcom has been on a roll withResident Evilsince its major misstep withRE6, andRequiemis already looking promising.BiohazardandVillagehave taken the series in a bold new direction, andRequiemappears to be setting up quite a bit of closure for the iconic survival horror franchise with a return to the destroyed Raccoon City. Not to mention, it’ll be the best of both worlds with both first- and third-person gameplay.

Pragmataalso looks very compelling, and the Capcom Spotlight will hopefully dash any remaining reservations stemming from its repeated delays. Previews from Summer Game Fest describe an odd blend of hacking minigames and third-person shooter gameplay, and with positive first impressions, it would seem the protracted development has paid off.Resident Evil RequiemandPragmatawill likely be the standouts, butCapcomprobably has plenty of exciting news forMonster HunterandStreet Fighteron the docket as well.
