Call of Duty: Vanguardis the latest in Activision’s series of highly successful first-person shooters.Call of Duty: Vanguardoffered fans a return to thesetting of WWII, something that many had been requesting since the franchise started to move in a more futuristic direction. ThoughCall of Dutyremains an incredibly popular franchise, bothVanguardand the battle royaleCall of Duty: Warzonehave suffered from bugs and glitches since their respective launches. Both games face consistent criticism from fans over a variety of topics, though game-breaking bugs can prove especially frustrating in a competitive shooter such asCall of Duty. From allowing players to make trees move to a bug that turns players into dead bodies,Call of Duty: Vanguardhas more than a few bugsplayers are finding problems with.

Now, though, a glitch is giving some players wall hacks through systems implemented by the game. Found on Twitter, a short clip shows a player using the Glide Bomb kill streak, which allows a player to see where enemies are on a map. With many airstrike kill streaks or kill streaks that require striking from above,Call of Dutyhas often allowed players to see the locations of enemies on the map, so it’s more likely they can use their kill streak properly.Call of Duty: Vanguardis no different, though it gives players perhaps too much help in spotting their enemies.

In the clip, the ability to see players through walls persists after using the Glide Bomb kill streak, giving theCall of Duty: Vanguardplayer wall hacks, as they can spot enemies consistently as they run around the map. Obviously, this is quite unfair to the players who don’t have wall hacks and has been immediately called out byCall of Dutyfans.Cheating inCall of Dutyis something that players have been dealing with for some time. Even pro players have faced serious cheating accusations in theCall of Dutycompetitive scene.

WhileActivision has implemented Ricochet Anti-Cheatto help stop cheaters inCall of Duty, many have pointed out that it’s hard to catch cheaters when a game exploit gives some players cheats. TheCall of Dutydevelopers often update the game, though, and fix bugs as they appear. So many are hoping that this bug quickly becomes a top priority to be fixed.
