As seen below, Infinity Ward has announced that it is removing Realism Mosh Pit, Hardhat 24/7, Clean Up on Aisle 9, Reinfected Ground War, BR Trios Classic, and Blood Money Trios. With these leaving comes a new set of game modes, this time including Deathmatch Domination, Drop Zone, Shipment 24/7, Shoot House 24/7, Gun Game on Gunfight Maps forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, as well as adding Plunder Quads forWarzone.
While some may miss the short lived update that added in these new modes, there’s no doubt the incoming are as exciting.Shipment and Shoothouse 24/7are some of the most popular game modes inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, so fans will surely treat themselves with it. Another big addition is the incredibly popular Gun Game taking place on Gunfight maps. This is big because most Gunfight maps are small and symmetrical to facilitate intense, tactical 2v2 gameplay, yet Gun Game’s hectic-ness is sure to throw that out the window.
Instead of tactical, Gun Game’s frequently swapping weapons is likely to lean into the intensity of the map, perhaps adding an all new layer to these maps and the game mode itself.Call of Duty: Modern Warfareseason 4is also right around the corner, so fans should expect more additions in the future, with this constant support definitely being a boon for fans of the shooter franchise.
