Despite themyriad of issues, manyAnthemhopefuls dove in to a world that met their every expectation. Whether it was the Iron Man-esque flight, the simple yet fun combat, or any Javelin in particular, the VIP demo for BioWare’s latest action RPG checked off a lot of boxes for a lot of players, including the technical event manager over at Bungie.

Scott Kankelborg, who manages the company’s livestreams and technical setup for E3 and more, has worked at Bungie in multiple roles over the past eight years. And it’s clear that he also took a dive into the world ofAnthemduring the VIP weekend, as he chose to share his love for one specific Javelin. Like many, he spent the time on this demo getting to try out the Javelins firsthand, with Kankelborg making it clear that he loved the Storm.

His enthusiasm was likely similar to many of those who prefer magic-based characters, as the Storm is the elementalist of the four. Of the other javelins, the Ranger is the well-rounded suit, the Interceptor is the ninja-like suit, and the Colossus is the heavy-hitting tank. Altogether, a party of four get to enjoy a diverse party with a multitude of abilities, though nothing is stopping a squad of four Storms from exploring the world ofAnthem.

Of course, while the abilities should be no surprise, there is nothing quite like experiencing the suit in itself. After all, BioWare recently showcasedsome gameplay of the Storm, so magic-loving gamers knew which suit to try out first. Luckily, for those VIP demo players who only got to try out two suits, all four will be available to VIP players during the open demo.

This will give players the chance to try out all four suits, asthe Ranger, the Storm, the Interceptor, and the Colossusall bring something unique to the game. Ultimately, however, it’s likely many VIP demo players are looking forward to the full launch, which is set to occur in less than a month from the time of this writing.
