An official release date wasn’t nailed down forBleeding Edgeat E3 2019, but fans will actually have the chance to try it out later this month. That’s because Ninja Theory is hosting a technical alpha on June 27, the feedback from which it will use to inform development on the game moving forward. Hopefully this technical alpha will help the studio iron out any issues with the game so it can launch with minimal issues.

After Ninja Theory’scritically-acclaimedHellblade: Senua’s Sacrificewas a single-player only game, many were expecting the studio’s next title to follow suit. It seems that the reception toBleeding Edgeso far has been fairly mixed, as some are disappointed that Ninja Theory isn’t continuing with another single player game.

However, other people seem to be excited forBleeding Edge, and many have compared it favorably to titles likeOverwatch. Whether or not it will be able to reach the same levels of success asOverwatchremains to be seen, but we should have a better idea of how it plays when the technical alpha test launches on June 27.
