WithE3 2018 right around the corner, video game developers and companies have promised to reveal more details about dozens of new games that gamers can look forward to playing in 2018 and 2019.Bethesdahas already revealed details about a newFalloutgame titledFallout 76and the upcoming open-world shooterRage 2,but according to Bethesda’s Vice President, Pete Hines, Bethesda has “more than one surprise left.”
After Hines tweeted that theBethesdateam is really excited for E3 this year, even though it is always an exhausting time for them, fans have grabbed the opportunity to ask Hines for more clues surrounding Bethesda’s conference at E3 this year. To that, Hines has not given any concrete clues, but he has replied that Bethesda has many surprises left that he thinks fans will enjoy. This has many fans wondering what Bethesda will reveal, as theFallout 76reveal was already quite big for the company.
Fans have been speculating that the other “surprises” at Bethesda’s E3 conference may have something to do withStarfield, the long-rumored, and sometimes teased, sci-fi role-playing game from Bethesda Game Studios, who is the company’s internal team responsible for theFalloutandThe Elder Scrollsseries. With that in mind, another surprise may also have something to do with theElder Scrollsseries, although Bethesda has hinted previously that we need not get too excited about a newElder Scrollsgame any time soon.
Another prediction is that Bethesda may revealDLC for its recently-released game,Prey. Bethesda has been teasing somethingPrey-related for quite some time ahead of E3, but whether it will be DLC or a stand-alone game that is similar toDishonored: Death of the Outsider(which is from the same studio) remains to be seen. It is almost definite though thatPreywill be at the show, and will form part of at least one of the “surprises” that Bethesda has to offer. Finally, there have also been rumors about aFallout 3remaster revealat E3 this year.
Bethesda’s E3 conference will be on Sunday, June 10th at 6:30 PM PT.
