Best Oblivion Remastered money farming method
Just like in the originalOblivion, the best way to farm money (and get a lot of levels) inOblivion Remasteredcan be done by producing and then selling potions, as they can range from 15 to 30 Gold each (initially). For this guide specifically, we’ll be focusing on making Fatigue Potions by first harvesting their ingredients from three specific locations: Odiil Farm on Chorrol, Shetcombe Farm on Kvatch, and the Tarmika and Surilie Brothers Vineyards on Skingrad. You can check out the location of all areas below.
The above will feature enough Fatigue ingredients to make 150+ potions, even at Novice level. All ingredients will also respawn after three in-game days. Here are all of the Fatigue Potion ingredients you can expect to find at each area:
Now that you have all of the ingredients in hand, brew the potions, and then make a beeline to any city to sell them for a huge profit (around 3,000 to 4,000 Gold initially). To boost the value of your wares, don’t forget to haggle with the buyer. Raising your Mercantile skill to at least Journeyman (level 50) can also be impactful here.
How to make potions in Oblivion Remastered
You can make potions inOblivion Remasteredby acquiring a Mortar and Pestle, at least two ingredients sharing the same property/effect (such as Carrot and Grape for Restore Fatigue), and then following the steps below:
To make brewing your potions a way more seamless affair, I recommend mapping your Mortar and Pestle into your shortcut wheel. To do that, find the item in your inventory and open the wheel before selecting which spot you wish to place it at.
How to get a free Mortar and Pestle
If you’re going for an honorable route and don’t have enough gold to buy a pestle at any Alchemy shop, you can get a free Mortar and Pestle inOblivion Remasteredby returning to the caves surrounding the Imperial Prison Sewers and heading to the area where you were taught how to sneak. Once there, you can find a Novice Mortar and Pestle sitting by the area’s first fireplace.
