A keen-eyed player might notice an innocent-looking treasure chest inBaldur’s Gate 3as it rests on a pillar when they enter Druid Grove. Since there is no immediate danger to the chest or the player, gamers may rightfully set getting to this spot aside until exploring for a bit.

Typically,Baldur’s Gate 3offers a sneaky and exciting way of reaching secret areas but gamers who really dig into the Druid Grove will find that they still haven’t found a way to reach that Shiny Chest. It’s not impossible to reach but it does require some serious player creativity to get the treasure.
How To Reach The Shiny Chest

Keep in mind that this Shiny Chest is locked and will require players to eitherget the key from Topazor have a decent ability to pick locks. This is important because if a player Misty Steps to the Shiny Chest and can’t get it open, they’ll have to use the spell again to get back, then again to get there, and finally a fourth time to get back. That’s a lot of expenditure for a small mistake.
Jumping from the top will often take the jumper to zero HP but a healer can undo this damage. Just be warned that the character who jumps will also need a second round of healing to jump down from the pillar.
The most simple way is to take a Void Bulb, gathered from the tutorial portion of the game, and throw it at the Shiny Chest. This will knock it down to the player’s level and prevent needing to use any spell slots or take any damage. Whenplaying with friends, decide what to do as a team and get everyone in position.
Baldur’s Gate 3is available in Early Access on PC and will be available on August 3rd, 2023. The PlayStation 5 version will be available on September 6th, 2023. A version for Xbox Series X/S is still in development.
