This is a weird one. Over the past three years, musical group Anamanaguchi (past credits includeScott Pilgrim vs. The WorldandBit.Trip Runner) has been involved in making the gameCapsule Silence XXIVin that it was creating the soundtrack and also had a hands-on role in development. Today, the bandleaked the gameto the public.
Anamanaguchi is seemingly fed up with developer NHX’s role in the project. Media relations people are telling the band to act professionally, and Anamanaguchi wants none of it. For a better idea (yet still tough to discern) of what’s going on, take a look atthe group’s Twitter page.

According to a recent story onGameSpotthat announces the game,Capsule Silence XXIVis about an orphan who’s trying to uncover the truth about his past, and he’s also tasked with saving the members of Anamanaguchi. It’s said to be a first-person shooter with role-playing game elements.
Capsule Silence XXIVwas set to come out later this year on PC, with console versions also in the works. It seems as if Anamanaguchi and NHX have a relationship so strained that any further work on this title might come to a halt. And, it’d be surprising if these actions don’t result in some sort of legal action. This will be an interesting one to keep tabs on.
